Latham    2L Diversity Scholars Program 

The Latham & Watkins 2L Diversity Scholars Program offers a summer employment opportunity and a progressive scholarship of $25,000. To be eligible to apply, you must be enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school and seek to practice law in one of Latham’s US offices. You must have successfully completed your first year of a full-time JD program by the application deadline (May 2019), with an expected graduation date of spring 2021. You must not be the recipient of a similar scholarship award from another law firm. Deadline to apply is August 8, 2019.

WEST_207253000_1   Robert Strauss Diversity Scholarship 

The Strauss Scholarship provides a $25,000 scholarship to five outstanding second-year law students at U.S. law schools to offset expenses for their third year of law school. In addition to the financial award, the scholarships also provide mentoring from firm attorneys and a paid second year Summer Associate position in the firm’s Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C. offices. Applications for the program will be accepted, and considered on a rolling basis, between July 2, 2019 and September 28, 2019.

To be eligible to be considered for the Strauss Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in and in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of 2021 at the time of application. Recipients must participate in and complete the firm’s summer associate program following their second year of law school and may not be the recipient of a similar diversity award from another law firm.
