Diversity Leadership Award

Overview

 

Despite the growth in law school enrollment by students from underrepresented communities, the percentage of lawyers and partners from minority groups continues to remain low.

Established in 2017, The PracticePro Diversity Leadership Award highlights law firms and corporate legal departments that are actively addressing the diversity gap and working toward a more inclusive and diverse legal profession. The award is presented at the annual San Francisco Diversity Reception in March.

 

Selection Criteria

 

  • The law firm or corporate legal department’s overall track record and commitment to diversity initiatives

  • Innovative methods and mindset in recruiting and training diverse talent

  • Support of external pipeline programs
